Recolorable (Fake) Stairs by HugeLunatic
This will go over existing stairs and will be usable as long as it is placed over stairs. There's two designable areas. Download at Sims 2 Artists. Be sure to read what the creator has to say and which stairs are best for this. You can also download this at Mod The Sims.
