James Rousseau

James Rousseau Vital Stats
Birth Name: James Rousseau Osborne
Birth Date: December 19, 1980
Birth Place: Ashford, United Kingdom
Height: 6’1”
Romantic Link: Ana Beatriz Barros

James Rousseau Interesting Facts

James Rousseau earns up to $50,000 for one day’s work.
James Rousseau speaks English and Italian fluently.

James Rousseau Biography

Born on December 19, 1980 in Ashford, a town in the south east county of Kent, England, James Osborne was raised by his mom Nicola and his dad, Stephen, and was destined to stand in front of the camera, as his boyish good looks were noticed by everyone who encountered him.

Growing up he attended Abberley Hall School in Worcestershire, and in 1996, he began attending Malvern College.

James Rousseau starts modeling

One day in 1997, he was helping out a friend in the music business when a couple suggested that James should take a stab at modeling, as he was quite striking. So for laughs, James made his way to local agency called Select Models and took his chances on a potential career in modeling.

James was turned away almost immediately because he didn’t have any photos of himself, let alone a portfolio. Lucky for him, an agent spotted him as he was about to leave and decided to take a chance on him.

Rousseau photographed by Steven Meisel

After sending his amateur pictures to various photographers, it took only three weeks for the responses to come pouring in, the first of which landed him a job that included getting photographed by Steven Meisel in New York for Italian Vogue. Only two weeks after that, James was hired for a Miu Miu campaign, and it was obvious from that moment that James Rousseau had arrived.

His rise in the fashion industry came incredibly quickly and, in 1999, his success allowed him to transition from high school into college without any financial burdens. As well, his agency and his schools were quite flexible, allowing James the ability to organize his schedule as he saw fit and make up any time he missed when he could.

James has enjoyed the fruits of his success thus far, as he has been photographed with the most beautiful women in the world, including Gisele Bundchen.

James has appeared in runway shows for Cerruti Jeans, Exte, YSL, Hugo Boss, as well as editorial appearances for GQ, Elle, Esquire, and others. His face has become more and more familiar to the public, which women seem to love.

Rousseau stars in The Hole

In 2001, James landed a small role in The Hole (After the Hole in the U.S.) alongside famed actress Thora Birch (the movie went straight to video upon its release in the U.S. in 2004). But Rousseau’s first love is music and, once his modeling career begins to wind down, James has expressed interest in pursuing a music career.

James has dated Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros, whom he admits was his first love, and is currently dating Kate Bosworth. He divides his time between New York, London and Milan.
In 2008, James Rousseau is recording an album - he will be working with one of Australia’s best music producers, Louis Schoorl, at his Limestone Studios, Sydney, Australia, for several months to create his debut album. Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo Vital Stats
Birth Name: Shaffer Chimere Smith
Birth Date: October 18, 1982
Birth Place: Camden, Arkansas
Height: N/A
Romantic Link: None

Ne-Yo Interesting Facts

Ne-Yo’s single “So Sick” is a true story (song) about him and his ex-girlfriend.

Ne-Yo’s adopted name is a reference to Neo, the main character in The Matrix.

Ne-Yo Biography

Born on October 18, 1982, in Camden, Arkansas, Shaffer Chimere Smith was raised by his mother, who decided to move to Las Vegas with Shaffer because she felt that there would be more job opportunities there. And she was right.

Ne-Yo works with Jamie Foxx

Shaffer discovered his passion for singing early on in his life, writing his first song about mustard when he was only 5 years old. And growing up listening to the likes of Diane Warren, Prince, Marvin Gaye, The Rat Pack, and Stevie Wonder, there was no doubt that he wanted to sing to the world.

By the time he was barely in his teens, Ne-Yo began co-writing songs with already famous singers Mary J. Blige, Marques Houston, Nivea, Tyrese Gibson, Jamie Foxx, Faith Evans, and Christina Milian.

But it was the song he wrote for Mario, entitled “Let Me Love You,” that got so much airplay and made Ne-Yo feel as though he had finally arrived as a songwriter.

Content to stay in the background, making other singers look good, it wasn’t until a chance meeting with L.A. Reid of Def Jam Records that Ne-Yo finally got his opportunity to make a name for himself.

Ne-Yo releases Stay

Ne-Yo’s first release, “Stay” (featuring Peedi Crack) did well on the hip-hop charts, but failed to make any ground on Billboard’s Hot 100. The video, which featured beautiful choreographer Taneisha Scott, however, did get some serious airplay on music television.

It was his second single release, however, that thrust Ne-Yo into the Billboard stratosphere and turned him into a household name.

Ne-Yo becomes So Sick

“So Sick,” a song that Ne-Yo put together when he was all of 18, became a North American hit, topping both of Billboard’s Hot 100 and Pop 100 charts.

When the album, In My Own Words, was finally released during the last week of February in 2006, it went straight to No. 1, selling 301,000 copies.

Ne-Yo worked on a single for the soundtrack of the 2007 movie Steppin’ Up: Save The Last Dance 2, in which he also made an appearance alongside Izabella Miko and Columbus Short.

Ne-Yo tours with Chris Brown

Ne-Yo has his own record company called Compound Entertainment, after finishing up his Up Close & Personal Tour with Chris Brown, Ne-Yo started his own clothing label.

In 2007, Ne-Yo released Because of You, which was certified platinum, and was nominated for 5 Grammy Awards at the 2008 American Music Awards.

Clive Owen

Clive Owen Vital Stats
Birth Name:
Clive Owen
Birth Date: October 3, 1964
Birth Place: Keresley, Coventry, Warwickshire, England
Height: 6’2½”
Romantic Link: Sarah-Jane Fenton

Clive Owen Interesting Facts

From 2001 to 2002, Clive Owen did a series of commercials for BMW, playing the mysterious driver.

Clive Owen is such a huge David Bowie fan that in the ‘70s, he’d dye his hair whatever color Bowie was sporting at the time.

Clive Owen Biography

Born on October 3, 1964, in Coventry, England, Clive Owen, his four brothers (Gary, Alan and Lee were older, and Scott was younger) and mother were abandoned by his country music singer dad when Clive was all of 3 years old.

Soon after, Clive’s mother remarried and he was lucky enough to have a father figure to look up to (especially considering his dad didn’t resurface until Clive was 19 years old).

Clive Owen in Oliver!

As a child, Clive attended Binley Park Comprehensive School and was a good student… up until the acting bug bit him, that is. From the moment Clive starred in a stage play of Oliver!, he knew he wanted to become an actor.

Unfortunately for him, when asked by his teacher what he wanted to do with his life, Clive told her he wanted to be an actor, at which point she encouraged the entire class to laugh at him (and who’s laughing now, I wonder).

Clive rejects acting school

At 13 years old, Clive joined a youth theater and put all his energy into it, leaving his schooling to suffer by the wayside. After receiving zeros in all his classes except for English, Clive was about ready to dump school altogether. And even though a teacher saw his potential and encouraged him to continue his studies in drama school, Owen resisted.

The teacher did, however, land Owen an audition at Mountview School in London, and even purchased his train ticket to get there. Unfortunately, although Mountview accepted Owen as a student, Clive was a firm believer that acting couldn’t be taught and turned down the acceptance.

Unfortunately, the next two years would prove to be terrible for Owen, as he was unable to land an acting job, and he spent that time playing pool and waiting for the acting dry spell to pass.

Clive in Twelfth Night

Finally, in 1984, Owen decided that perhaps education wasn’t such a bad idea and enrolled in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London where he was taught alongside Ralph Fiennes and Gary Oldman.

After graduating in 1987, Owen joined the Young Vic Theater and began appearing in stage plays like Twelfth Night and The Cat And The Canary. It was in the stage play for Romeo and Juliet, however, where Owen, who was playing the lead, met and fell in love with Sarah-Jane Fenton, who was, fittingly enough, playing Juliet.

By 1988, Owen was landing steady work in movies like Vroom and Boon. After doing some very successful TV work between 1989 and 1993, Owen decided to move to the U.S. in order to land roles in American films.

Clive in The Rich Man’s Wife

His first American role was that of Devin O’Neil in TV’s Class of ’61. Every role he selected after that was radically different from the other for fear of being typecast.

In March 1995, Clive Owen married his Juliet and the two have since had two daughters, Hannah and Eve.

By 1996, Owen starred alongside Halle Berry in The Rich Man’s Wife. Although the film itself wasn’t very successful, audiences took notice of Owen.

In 1997’s Bent, Owen played Max, a gay man who gets sent to a concentration camp under the Nazi regime.

Clive Owen as Croupier

It was 1998’s Croupier, however, that really left Clive Owen’s name lingering on every woman’s lips. Playing casino croupier Jack Manfred, this very stylish film showed off exactly how appealing and seductive Owen could be.

Owen made a return to television from 1999 to 2000, starring as DCI Ross Tanner in the mini-series Second Sight.

Throughout 2001 and 2002, Owen starred in a series of BMW short films, in which he played the mysterious driver. It was in 2001 that Owen also landed a role in the Oscar-award winning Gosford Park, starring with Helen Mirren, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ryan Phillippe.

Clive star in The Bourne Identity

Next for Owen was The Bourne Identity in 2002, where he played The Professor out to kill Matt Damon’s character Jason Bourne.

All this success gave Owen the time he needed to develop his own projects, including 2003’s I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, about an ex-enforcer who gets sucked back into a life of crime after his brother is driven to suicide by a crime boss, played by Malcolm McDowell.

Also in 2003, Owen starred alongside Angelina Jolie in the drama Beyond Borders. Although Owen’s role is an unforgettable one, the movie did not do well at the box office.

Sexy Clive in Closer

2004 saw Owen starring in very recognizable movies Arthur, in which he had the title role and starred with the very beautiful Keira Knightley, and Closer, with an all star cast that included Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts and Jude Law.

Another successful year had just passed and more success was to come. In 2005, Clive Owen starred in two highly-anticipated films: Sin City and Derailed. Owen admits that he admires his Derailed costar Jennifer Aniston for having stuck with scheduled filming of the latter movie, even though she was going through a heavily publicized divorce to Brad Pitt at the time.

2006 proved to be yet another wildly successful year. Although the rumors that he would be selected as the next James Bond ran rampant, the role actually went to Daniel Craig. Nevertheless, Owen was quite busy with starring roles in Inside Man and The Children Of Men.

Clive Owen in The International

2007 was also another busy year for Owen, as he starred in Shoot ‘Em Up, and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

But Clive is far from ready to take a rest, 2008 has him starring in The International and The Boys Are Back in Town, and 2009 confirms that Owen can be seen in the sequel to Sin City.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson Vital Stats
Birth Name: Scarlett Johansson
Birth Date: November 22, 1984
Birth Place: New York City, New York
Height: 5’4”
Romantic Link: Ryan Reynolds

Scarlett Johansson Interesting Facts

Scarlett Johansson has a twin brother named Hunter. She is 3 minutes older.

Scarlett Johansson admits that she takes two HIV tests every year.

Scarlett Johansson Biography

Born in New York City, New York, on November 24, 1984, to parents Karsten and Melanie Sloan, Scarlett, who was named after Scarlet O’Hara from Gone With the Wind, knew that she would become an actress by the age of 3.

When she was only 7 years old, her mom took Scarlett and her siblings to an audition for a commercial, but much to Scarlett’s dismay, the agent was more interested in her twin brother than he was in her. This did not bode well with Scarlett and she would act out every time she was rejected for a commercial, which occurred often.

Scarlett at the Lee Strasberg Institute

Finally admitting to herself and her parents that she really wanted to act (not act out), Scarlett’s parents enrolled her at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute by the time she turned 8. Scarlett quickly stood out among her age group and began studying alongside the adults.

Almost immediately, Scarlett starred in an off-Broadway play entitled “Sophistry” with Ethan Hawke. She landed her first film role, albeit a tiny one, in Rob Reiner’s North, in 1994.

Only a year later, at 11, Scarlett starred alongside Sean Connery in the thriller Just Cause. It was also in 1995 that she graduated from the Institute.

Johansson stars in Lost in Translation

By 12, the roles began pouring in for Scarlett; she received critical acclaim playing the younger sister of a pregnant runaway in Manny & Lo. Then, at 14, Scarlett landed a role in Robert Redford’s The Horse Whisperer, impressing audiences worldwide by playing Grace MacLean, a girl who had her leg amputated after an unfortunate accident.

By 2001, Scarlett was incredibly busy shooting three movies: Ghost World, The Man Who Wasn’t There and An American Rhapsody. After making the unfortunate decision to star with David Arquette in Eight Legged Freaks in 2002, Scarlett made a life-altering decision when she starred as Charlotte in the Oscar award-winning film Lost in Translation, with Bill Murray, in 2003.

2004 saw Scarlett with a plate full of movies, including The Perfect Score, A Good Woman and In Good Company, the latter of which she starred with Topher Grace and Dennis Quaid.

Scarlett in Match Point & Scoop

In 2005, Scarlett would become Woody Allen’s muse and would star in two of his projects, both of which would receive critical acclaim. Match Point, in which Scarlett plays the object of a married man’s affections, shows a very sexy and erotic side to the actress. And Scoop, in which she starred with Hugh Jackman, shows her comedic side.

In 2006, Scarlett made some bold personal decisions; including posing nude alongside Keira Knightley on a cover shoot for the February issue of Vanity Fair. That same year, she opted to quit her two-year gig as the spokesperson for Calvin Klein and signed a multi-million dollar deal to become the face of L’Oreal.

And just for being naturally beautiful, Scarlett was chosen as Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive in October 2006, as well as FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World.

But while she was making bold moves behind the scenes, Scarlett managed to star alongside her then-boyfriend Josh Hartnett in the film The Black Dahlia and then alongside Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman in The Prestige.

Scarlett as The Other Boleyn Girl

Still in her early 20s, Scarlett is far from making her mark in Hollywood; 2007 saw her starring in The Nanny Diaries, which didn’t fare very well in theaters. Look for Scarlett in 2008 in The Other Boleyn Girl, He’s Just Not That Into You and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Already booked for 2009’s The Spirit and Mary Queen of Scots, Scarlett shows no signs of slowing down.

On the personal front, Scarlett currently lives in New York and dating Ryan Reynolds. Hoping to become a double threat, Scarlett is in the midst of putting together a music album.

Because her dad was in the United States Military, Amerie and her family moved from Alaska and Texas to Germany and South Korea, before finally settling down in Virginia when Amerie became a teenager.

Amerie releases All I Have

As early as the third grade in primary school, Amerie entered her first talent show and kept it up well into high school. After graduation, Amerie headed to Georgetown University and studied Fine Arts and English, all the while trying to find out all she could about the music industry.

Upon receiving her degree in 2000, Amerie met up with producer/songwriter Rich Harrison and manged to secure a record deal with Columbia Records. And while she was working on her debut album, Amerie lent her voice to Nas’ single “Rule.”

In 2002, All I Have was released and her single “Why Don’t We Fall in Love” became a huge hit on urban radio throughout the United States and garnered Amerie a Soul Train Award for Best New Soul/R&B/Rap Artist.

Amerie in First Daughter

In 2003, Amerie sang on LL Cool J’s single “Paradise,” DJ Kay Slay’s “Too Much For Me,” and even remade the Diana Ross hit “I’m Coming Out” for the Jennifer Lopez movie, Maid In Manhattan.

Amerie – Because I Love It

And after going back into the studio to work on her sophomore album, Amerie emerged with Touch. The first single, “1 Thing,” was leaked onto the Internet by Amerie herself, and became her biggest-selling single ever. The song, which was also used as part of the soundtrack for the Will Smith movie Hitch, garnered Amerie the Soul Train Lady of Soul Award for Entertainer Of The Year.

Amerie’s third album, Because I Love It, released in late 2007, and failed to meet expectations, with the first single “Take Control” failing to chart on Billboard’s Hot 100.

While the pressure is on for Amerie to work wonders with her music, there’s no doubt that her beauty, as well as collaborations with artists like Chingy, will keep her abreast of the music industry.

John Legend

John Legend Vital Stats

Birth Name: John Stephens
Birth Date: December 28 1978
Birth Place: Springfield, Ohio
Height: 5’9½”
Romantic Link: None

John Legend Interesting Facts

John met Kanye West through his college roommate, who happened to be Kanye’s cousin.

John’s first major record appearance was on Lauryn Hill's "Everything is Everything" single (from her Grammy award-winning album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill).

John Legend Biography

John Stephens was born on December 28, 1978, in Springfield, Ohio into a blue-collar family. At the age of only 4, John began playing gospel and classical piano, thanks in part to his grandmother. And by age 6, John was already singing with the church choir.

When he was 11 years old, John’s parents divorced, leaving John to be raised by his father.

Having been home schooled by his parents for the first four years of what would’ve typically been grammar school, John excelled in education and managed to graduate high school by age 16, at which point he headed to the University Of Pennsylvania, where he majored in English Literature and minored in African-American History. He graduated by age 20.

John Stephens Legend meets Kanye West

It was thanks to his U of P networking that John would become a legend. In 2001, John discovered that his college roommate, Devo Harris, a.k.a. Devo Springstein, was Kanye West’s cousin.

When Kanye learned that John was choir director and head of the music department at Bethel AME Church in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Kanye gave John free reign to make changes with his album, The College Dropout. After seeing what he could do, Kanye helped John make connections and work with other well-known artists in the industry.

John lent his vocal, keyboard and production talents to tracks by Jay-Z, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, and even sang backup on the single “Everything is Everything” on Lauryn Hill's 1998 debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

John Legend releases Get Lifted

Although John had shopped his album, Get Lifted, around to record labels beforehand, it wasn’t until he had all these credits in his portfolio that labels began to give him some play.

Columbia Records signed John “Legend” (a name given to him by J. Ivy) and released Get Lifted in October 2004. The album made it onto the Billboard Top 5 in three weeks and went gold in just over 4 weeks.

John Legend in Loverboy

In 2006, at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards, John was nominated for eight awards, including Best R&B Album and Best New Artist, and took home three Grammys.

Currently, John released his latest album, Once Again, in October 2006, and his first single “Save Room” has a vintage, sexy feel to it. And if you want to see more of John, he can also be seen in the 2005 movies Loverboy and Be Cool. And don't think you've heard the last of Legend just yet; he's already working on a new album, set for release sometimes in 2008.

Looking for love but currently single, there’s no doubt that a beautiful woman will inevitably capture this legend’s heart.

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton Vital Stats

Birth Name: Hillary Diane Rodham
Birth Date: October 26, 1947
Birth Place: Chicago, Illinois
Romantic Link: Bill Clinton
Claim To Fame: First lady of the United States 1993-2001

Hillary Clinton Interesting Facts

In 1984, Hillary Clinton was chosen as Arkansas’ Woman of the Year.

Hillary Clinton is the first First Lady to seek and win a political office.

Hillary Clinton Biography

Born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 26, 1947, Hillary Diane Rodham was raised by her father, Hugh Ellsworth Rodham, and her mother, Dorothy Emma Howell Rodham, along with her two younger brothers Hugh Jr. and Tony.

Growing up, Hillary knew that she wanted to get involved in a life of politics, as she made sure to be very involved in her community by attending church and becoming the school president when she attended Main East High School.

Hillary supports republicans

By 1963, Hillary was already involved in politics, when she became an avid supporter of a presidential bid made by Arizona Republican Senator Barry Goldwater.

Having also earned many accolades as a Brownie and a Girl Scout, when Hillary switched to and graduated from Main South High School in 1964, she received the school’s first-ever social sciences award.

When Hillary entered Wellesley College in Massachusetts in 1965, she became increasingly involved in politics, even in her school as she served as the President of the College Republicans.

In 1968, amid her junior year in college, Hillary was quite taken aback when she heard of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., whom she had met in 1962. It was during this year that one of Hillary’s professors encouraged her to head to Wellesley in Washington, and it was during this time that Hillary’s political views began to change and she became a Democrat.

Rodham marries Bill Clinton

To no one’s surprise, Hillary was selected as the class of 1969’s valedictorian and became the first student ever at Wellesley to deliver a commencement address when she spoke at her graduation. Not only did her words inspire everyone to stand up and applaud their hearts out; Hillary was even featured in Life magazine for what she did.

That same year, Hillary enrolled at Yale Law School, and spent all her free-time helping children via the Yale-New Haven Hospital, Children’s Defense Fund, the Yale Child Study Center, and provided free legal services to the poor.

After receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 1973, Hillary began her post-graduate studies and served as a staff lawyer for the Children’s Defense Fund. It was during this time that Hillary became a member of the faculty at the University of Arkansas Law School in Fayetteville. It was here that she met and eventually married William Jefferson Clinton, a.k.a., Bill Clinton on October 11, 1975.

Hillary is Arkansas First Lady

By 1976, Hillary joined the Rose Law Firm, and dealt with cases of intellectual property while doing pro bono cases for children on the side.

It was in 1978 that Hillary’s husband became the governor of Arkansas, making Hillary Arkansas First Lady – a role she would fill for the next 12 years. When 1979 rolled around, she became a full partner in the law firm.

On February 27, 1980, Hillary and Bill welcomed little Chelsea, their first and only daughter, into the world. But Hillary wasn’t one to rest on her laurels; as the First Lady, Hillary sat on the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, as well as the Rural Health Advisory Committee, all in a bid to help children get better educated and help parents better teach their children.

Not only was Hillary named Arkansas Woman of the Year in 1983, and Mother of the Year in 1984, she also sat on the Board of Directors for TCBY and Wal-Mart from 1985 to 1992.

Hillary becomes First Lady of U.S.

But Hillary’s notoriety would no longer be limited to Arkansas once her husband became the President of the United States in 1992. By 1993, Hillary was selected to take on Health Care Reform.

While she had her share of critics, Hillary gained a lot of respect for her support of women’s rights and her continuing commitment to children’s issues. In 1996, she wrote a book entitled It Takes A Village: And Other Lessons Children Teach Us, which was a best-seller and garnered her a Grammy award for Best Spoken Word Album for her recording of it.

In 1998, Hillary’s life would be rocked by scandal when her husband was caught having an affair with an intern named Monica Lewinsky. Of course, there were many accusations made about Bill during their entire marriage, but this time, there was actual proof of it.

Hillary becomes NY senator

Nevertheless, Hillary and Bill showed the world a united front and worked their way through the issue. And while some admired her determination to make the marriage work, others called her an enabler of her husband’s flagrant disregard for monogamy.

In 2000, after her stint as the First Lady came to a close, Hillary decided to run for the New York State senate, and was elected by a 12% margin over her opponent Rick Lazio on November 7th of that year.

Having made many bids for improvement in New York State, Hillary continues to press for labor and education improvements, as well as financial incentives for business and job creations.

Hillary 2008 President

Hillary wrote her autobiography Living History in 2003, and sold more than a million copies of the book in its first month of sale. Although she was criticized for not having credited her ghostwriters, the book was ultimately translated into several foreign languages and garnered much praise.

In November 2004, Hillary announced that she would be running for the Senate again on November 7, 2006, and came away the victor once again.

Perhaps the most admirable thing about Hillary is that she is running for President of the United States in 2008, and, should she win, she will become the first woman ever to be nominated for President by a major party. Not to mention the first woman to ever be First Lady and President. That's making history, baby!

Birth Place: Bronx, New York
Height: 6’2”
Romantic Link: Foxy Brown

Tyson Beckford Interesting Facts

Tyson Beckford is the gorgeous man seen in the Toni Braxton video for “Unbreak My Heart.”

Tyson Beckford has eight tattoos on his body.

Tyson Beckford Biography

Tyson Craig Beckford was born on December 19, 1970, in Bronx, New York, but was raised in Rochester and Jamaica.

Growing up mulatto (his mother is part Chinese; his dad is Jamaican) wasn’t easy for Beckford as he was constantly ridiculed for his looks. Being raised on the unforgiving streets of New York sucked Beckford into a life of gangs and violence.

Tyson Beckford Signs With Ralph Lauren

His luck changed in 1991, however, when the editor of the famed hip-hop magazine, The Source, spotted him. Beckford was quickly signed to a New York modeling agency and, by 1993, signed a two-year exclusive modeling contract with Ralph Lauren for the Polo Sports line. Before he knew it, Beckford’s face could be seen on billboards and in magazines all over the world.

In 1995, VH1 named Tyson Beckford the Model of the Year, and one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People In The World, and he began working with the likes of Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.

Tyson Beckford In Zoolander

After appearing in music videos for Toni Braxton, Mia X, Notorious B.I.G. and Shaquille O’Neal, Beckford felt compelled to get into acting and wanted to star in film. So, naturally, he began to study acting.

By the time 2000 rolled around, Beckford had begun to get bit parts in movies like Boricua’s Bond and Zoolander, but they were only cameos.

In 2002, Beckford began to land meatier roles in films like Pandora’s Box and Gully. And in 2003, Beckford starred alongside Laurence Fishburne and Orlando Jones in Biker Boyz.

Tyson Beckford Sues Diddy

But it wasn’t until 2005 that Beckford began to land roles in major film productions like Into The Blue, starring Jessica Alba and Paul Walker.

In June 2005, Tyson Beckford was in a serious car accident when a tractor trailer rear ended him and he ended up in the hospital with severe damage to the right-side of his face. Luckily, there was no scarring and Tyson was able to get back to his career.

In August 2005, Beckford filed a lawsuit against Sean Diddy Combs and his clothing label Sean John, claiming that the company was using his likeness without paying him. Word has it, however, that the two have since patched up the problem, although there’s no word on the lawsuit having been dropped.

It was due, in part, to this lawsuit that Beckford decided to retire from modeling altogether, he claims.

Beckford was busy starring in the movie Dream Street and donated $1 to the production of a documentary called The 1 Second Film, which officially makes him a producer of the doc.

And Tyson’s path into movie stardom is still hot, as he’s set to star opposite Tatyana Ali in Hotel California in 2008.

Tyson wanted Vanessa Minnillo

On the personal front, Tyson tried to make the moves on Vanessa Minnillo (Nick Lachey’s girlfriend) in June 2006, which almost resulted in a barroom brawl. Luckily, Tyson listened to reason and left Vanessa alone.

For now, Tyson is happy to take care of his son Jordan (born in 1998) and live every day like it’s his last.

Jason Lewis appears in Aerosmith's "Fallin' In Love (Is Hard on The Knees)" music video.

Jason has a visible scar beneath his right eye, but it has not hindered his modeling or acting career in any way.

Jason Lewis Biography

Born on June 25, 1971, Jason Lewis was raised by parents Gregory and Nancy, in Newport Beach, California, along with his older brother Sean and his two sisters, Kate and Nicole. While growing up in California was great, Jason was determined to make something of himself and began his mission to get out of Cali early on in life.

As a teenager, while Jason Lewis attended Los Alamitos high school, he worked in both plumbing and as a waiter until he managed to save up enough money to move to Paris in June 1993, where he was told that opportunity awaits him by a model scout.

Jason Lewis models for Guess?

After a few months spent doing runway work in Paris, Jason decided that there would be even more opportunities in Milan and took off for Italy.

Thanks to his square jaw and flawless physique, by late 1993, Jason managed to land a Guess? campaign, and life was smooth sailing for him immediately after that. Campaigns came pouring in and he was in high demand.

Jason did work for Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, Byblos and Ray Ban – and that was just the photo spreads. Jason also did plenty of runway work in both Milan and New York, and his face became one of the most famous male model faces to grace the runways and magazine covers worldwide.

Jason Lewis in Beverly Hills: 90210

By 1996, Jason was recognized for his work as a model, as he was nominated for Male Model of the Year by VH1. Unfortunately, Jason did not take home the award.

But Jason Lewis had bigger plans than just modeling; he wanted to get into acting. At first, there were plenty of hurdles to climb, considering he was not only a model to start, but he was so good-looking, it was difficult for producers to take him seriously as an actor.

But Jason persevered and, by 1997, he landed a recurring role on the hit TV series, Beverly Hills: 90210, playing a character who was dating Valerie (Tiffani Theissen). To perfect his acting craft, Jason opted to work with 3 different acting coaches because he wanted to eventually take his acting to the big screen.

Jason Lewis in Sex and the City

Although Jason was landing bit parts in movies like Kimberley (1999) and The Elite (2001), it would be another TV role that would gain Jason the most recognition.

In 2003, Jason Lewis auditioned for the part of Jerrod Smith, a waiter turned actor who falls in love with Samantha (Kim Cattrall) on Sex and the City, and landed the role immediately. Female fans instantly fell in love with him and he remained on the show until its finale in 2004.

Jason Lewis in Charmed

While bit parts in film continued to follow with a role in 2004’s The Vision and the 2005 Adrien Brody film The Jacket, Jason returned to television with a recurring role in the WB’s Charmed in 2005.

While 2006 had Jason starring in a significant role opposite renowned Indian actress Kashmira Shah in My Bollywood Bride, the film wasn’t widely viewed in the United States, although it did pretty well in India, despite a controversial passionate kissing scene between Jason and Kashmira.

Jason Lewis in Brothers & Sisters

2007 proved to be an incredibly busy year for Jason, as he spent a lot of time doing both television and movies. First, he had a recurring role on the ABC hit drama Brothers & Sisters, in which he played Chad, a closeted famous gay actor who comes out amid the apex of his career.

Then he landed the starring role in The Death and Life of Bobby Z, opposite Laurence Fishburne and Paul Walker, and a significant role in the Kevin Costner, Demi Moore thriller Mr. Brooks.

Jason Lewis’ girlfriends

After a string of famous girlfriends like Maxine Bahns, Jennifer Esposito and Monet Mazur, Jason Lewis almost settled down with Rosario Dawson in 2004. The couple moved in together in 2005, but decided to part ways in 2006.

Currently, Jason is dating Michelle Trachtenberg.

Lucky for all women, Jason reprieves his role as Jerrod Smith in the 2008 Sex and the City movie, and can also be seen in The Pardon, also starring Jaime King.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez Vital Stats
Birth Name: Jennifer Lynn Lopez
Birth Date: July 24, 1970
Birth Place: Bronx, New York
Height: 5’6”
Romantic Link: Marc Anthony

Jennifer Lopez Interesting Facts
Jennifer Lopez took singing and dancing lessons from age 5.

Jennifer Lopez is the first singer to have a music album (J.Lo) and a movie (The Wedding Planer) hit No. 1 in the same week.

Jennifer Lopez Biography
Born on July 24, 1970, and raised in Bronx, New York, with her sisters Leslie and Lynda, Jennifer Lopez knew she was destined for fame at an early age.

With the encouragement of her schoolteacher mother Guadalupe and her computer operator father David, Jennifer set off on her path to stardom when she was only 7 years old. Off to a good start, Jennifer and her dance school classmates went on a tour of New York.

Jennifer Lopez in In Living Color

By the time she was 16, Jennifer got a bit part in the film My Little Girl, which starred Mary Stuart Masterson.

When Jennifer was 19, she heard about a dance scholarship being offered in Manhattan and decided to drop out of Baruch College after only one semester, and began taking full-time dance courses, working in a legal office and dancing in nightclubs in Manhattan in the evenings.

Jennifer’s first dance gigs included rap videos, and she even landed a spot as a dancer at the American Music Awards. But it wasn’t until after she was rejected twice that Jennifer was accepted as a “Fly Girl” dancer on the hit comedy skit show In Living Color.

Jennifer Lopez dances for Janet Jackson

After a couple of seasons with In Living Color, Jennifer landed a role as one of Janet Jackson’s dancers and even appeared in the video “That’s The Way Love Goes” in 1993.

But while Jennifer was contracted to go on tour with Janet and her crew, she asked if she could be let off of her contractual obligations so that she could pursue a career in acting. Janet’s people took no issue with it and Jennifer was off and running to pursue her dream.

After a few TV gigs, none of which were long-lived, Jennifer finally got her big movie role when she starred opposite Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson in 1995’s Money Train.

While Jennifer’s role was a significant one, most people did not take notice of the Puerto Rican beauty, nor did they when she landed a part opposite Robin Williams in 1996’s Jack. It wasn’t until she played a famous singer that the public would take notice of Miss Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez becomes Selena

In 1997, Jennifer played slain Tejano singer Selena, in the movie of the same name, and Jennifer Lopez finally became a household name. That same year, Jennifer also starred in Anaconda, U Turn and Blood and Wine, but those film roles paled in comparison.

It was also in 1997, that Jennifer married waiter and model Ojani Noa; the two divorced only eight months later.

In 1998, Jennifer had begun dating Diddy and starred opposite George Clooney in the very sexy film, Out of Sight; the film was praised by critics and audiences alike, and it became clear that Jennifer was becoming box office gold.

Lopez releases On the 6

But acting would not be the only talent that Jennifer possessed; by 1999, Lopez released her debut album, On the 6, and it wasn’t long before it hit triple-platinum status.

In 2000, Jennifer opted to star in a darker film called The Cell, in which her character would go into a comatose state in order to get into the mind of a serial killer. The movie would not be well-received by audiences, but critics praised the creativity of the film.

Lopez is the Wedding Planner

In 2001, after a highly publicized break up from Diddy, Jennifer Lopez made history when she was the first ever Hollywood star to have a film and album debut at No. 1 in the same week. Her movie, The Wedding Planner, with costar Matthew McConnaughey, was tops at the box office, and her sophomore album J.Lo, was at the top of the Billboard charts.

Although her next film that year, Angel Eyes, would not do as well, Jennifer’s album was certified four times platinum and the nickname J.Lo would become a mainstay.

Lopez becomes Bennifer

Only seven months after her break up from Diddy, Jennifer married backup dancer Cris Judd in September 2001. Her second marriage ended after only 10 months.

In 2002, while Jennifer was busy releasing Maid in Manhattan, she met and began dating her Gigli co-star, Ben Affleck, and the two would adopt the name Bennifer, and become the most talked about celebrity couple in the media.

Jennifer released her fourth album, This Is Me… Then, which was certified two times platinum and her first hit single, “Jenny From the Block,” featured a slick-haired Ben Affleck.

By November of that year, the two had become engaged, but their wedding would never come to fruition and they broke up by January 2004. By that time, Gigli had come and gone (it was released in 2003), and was panned by critics and the four people who opted to see it.

Lopez marries Marc Anthony

By June 2004, Jennifer was married to singer Marc Anthony, and began shying away from the media spotlight.

In 2005, Jennifer released her fifth album, Rebirth, without much fanfare, although it was certified platinum. That same year, Jennifer also starred in Monster-in-Law, alongside Jane Fonda, and An Unfinished Life with Robert Redford.

Jennifer Lopez in Bordertown

By the time 2006 rolled around, Jennifer had all but faded from the spotlight. She took on a less big-budget role in the film El Cantante, in which she stars alongside her husband and is credited as producer, and remained low-key, appearing with her husband wherever she went.

In 2007, starred in Bordertown with Robert Redford, and Bridge and Tunnel, and released her first all-Spanish album, Como Ama Una Mujer, perhaps due to the influence of her husband.

After sales of her Spanish album tanked, Lopez released Brave also in 2007, and headlined a tour with her husband. And although the couple denies that they are are pregnant with their first child, Lopez’s baby bump is growing by the day.

Top 10 Bikini Bodies

By Bobbi Hunter

When it comes to Hollywood, perfect bodies abound, all thanks to juice diets and 6-hour-a-day workout schedules. But hey, when your job requires you to look hot, you have to do whatever’s necessary to stay on top.

And the celebrities don’t disappoint; all thanks to teeny weeny, itsy bitsy bikinis and the stalkers who chase them down to get the shot, we all know who’s hot and who’s not (*cough* Tara Reid *cough*),

That said, check out the 10 hottest bodies on the scene today, sunscreen not included.

Bikini bodies #10
Jessica Simpson

It’s unattractive when a woman’s body weight fluctuates because the moment you see her looking thick, her weight loss just can’t make up for the previous assault on the eyes. But that doesn’t seem to be the case with Jessica Simpson.

When she did the crappy flick The Dukes of Hazzard, her turn as Daisy Duke was pretty smokin’, and you could easily tell that she had been working hard to get the perfect body.

And to prove it, Jess got naked in her video for the remake “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’,” and had men worldwide downloading her getting wet and shaking her booty in front of a car that no one remembers.

Bikini bodies #9
Kristin Cavallari

Known for her starring role in MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, Kristin may not have the greatest personality, but she sure as hell has a great body and face.

While some people criticize Kristin for using her reality TV fame to further her career, I personally think she’d be an idiot not to. Although, in all fairness, not many Hollywood big shots will take her seriously. But many of them will no doubt let her crash on their couch...

Bikini bodies #8
Jenny McCarthy

After Jenny had her son, Evan, in 2002, she looked like a whale, and I’m not exaggerating. Luckily, Jenny hooked up with Weight Watchers and managed to get her perfect body back.

And although Jenny’s son was diagnosed with autism, she manages to work hard to keep up appearances and has a fantastic relationship with Jim Carrey – that’s probably because the two have decided never to marry. But I digress, the girl has got it going on!

Bikini bodies #7
Gisele Bundchen

Of all the supermodels that have come and gone, Gisele seems a mainstay whose looks only get more enticing with time. Her long, lean body, sun kissed skin and breasts that are perfectly tailored to her body make this Brazilian bombshell that much easier to love.

When Gisele dons a bikini, jaws drop and the world stops moving for just a minute. Even her hair is the stuff fairy tales are made of.

Bikini bodies #6
Carmen Electra
Carmen Electra has to be on this list because all she is really known for is looking hot. That, and beating up Dennis Rodman. But put this girl in a bikini and there's no doubt that she deserves her place in Hollywood.

She works out and makes sexy appearances, and that’s about it… but that’s all she really needs to do. Oh, and she occasionally appears with the Pussycat Cat dolls dressed up like a whore and dancing. Which, you gotta admit, she was born to do.

Bikini bodies #5
Roselyn Sanchez

It seems as though Roselyn simply isn’t destined for Hollywood stardom (probably because her face resembles that of Sandra Bullock), and gets stuck in roles opposite people like Cuba Gooding Jr. (Boat Trip) and Sofia Vergara (Chasing Papi).

But no matter; Roselyn is one of the hottest women alive and has the perfect bikini body to prove it. Just look at this woman; she is the epitome of perfection.

Bikini bodies #4
Brooke Burke

Brooke has dropped babies and still has a body that just won’t quit. Given, her breasts are store bought, but you definitely have to attribute the rest of her to good genes. Although many would consider her a butter face, you have to admit that women would give up 2 years of sex for a body like that.

The former host of E!’s Wild On has had two children with two different men and does not have a drop of cellulite. This 36-year-old beauty could give most 18-year-olds a run for their money!

Bikini bodies #3
Megan Fox

It’s obvious that God took his sweet time when he put Megan Fox together. If it weren’t enough that she has the perfect face and the bluest eyes this side of the sky, she also has a body that just won’t quit. And this babe isn’t shy about using it to land roles (see Two and a Half Men or Transformers).

She’s being pegged as the next Angelina Jolie, but even I have to admit that she’s even sexier than Angie.

Bikini bodies #2
Jessica Biel

With a butt you can bounce anything off of, Jessica Biel, who is currently dating Justin Timberlake, has a body that even makes even the most beautiful of us jealous.

If you keep up with the gossip rags, you’d know that Jess works really hard at keeping her butt, well, really hard, and that, although genes do play a role, there’s no doubt that she is in great shape. And if you want to see her perfect body in motion, check out I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.

Bikini bodies #1
Jessica Alba
I’ll be the first to admit that Jessica Alba’s acting leaves something to be desired (see Honey, Into The Blue & Good Luck Chuck) but when it comes to being nekkid, Jessica has got the tish down. Her face, her smile and her body are sheer perfection.

Magazine shoots must be a breeze considering they barely have to airbrush this stunner, and movie sets that she’s on must have sticky floors. Miss Alba has the perfect genetic make up.

Best bikini bodies

There you have it; the hottest of the hottest. Stay tuned for the hottest male bodies in Hollywood… feel free to make suggestions by leaving your comments.

David Beckham

David Beckham Vital Stats

Birth Name: David Robert Joseph Beckham
Birth Date: May 2, 1975
Birth Place: Leytonstone, London
Height: 5’11½”
Romantic Link: Victoria Beckham

David Beckham Interesting Facts

In January 2006, David signed a 4-year deal worth $41 million (US) to play for Real Madrid.

David wears a new pair of soccer shoes for every game he plays at an estimated cost of $500 a pair.

The $250 million that David Beckham stands to earn as part of the Los Angeles Galaxy is actually an estimated total of his salary and endorsements.

David Beckham Biography

Born in Leytonstone, London on May 2, 1975, David Robert Joseph Beckham seemed destined to play soccer. His mom, Sandra West, was a hairdresser and his father, Ted Beckham, was a gas fitter’s assistant, and David was raised with two sisters, Lynne and Joanne, one was older, the other younger.

Growing up, David would watch games in which his dad would participate and spent the better part of his childhood begging his father to let him play on the team. Of course, his dad forbade the then too young David to compete against grown men.

Beckham loves Manchester United

A huge Manchester United fan, due in part to his father, David’s grandfather (Ted’s dad) was a huge fan of the Man U. rival Arsenal. And although his grandfather consistently tried to sway him, David stuck to his guns and remained loyal to Man U.

Growing up, David played a host of sports, including baseball, basketball and rugby, but nothing came close to making him as passionate as he was about playing soccer. And it was at age 8 that David got the opportunity to display his talents as a soccer player.

Upon joining the Ridgeway Rovers of the Enfield District League, David quickly became the club’s most impressive player, as he controlled the ball and his movements with ease.

At age 11, Beckham signed up to play in a nationwide competition called Bobby Charlton's Soccer Skills Tournament. David came out on top by scoring the most goals ever in the competition and his prize was a 2-week trip to the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona, Spain, with English Soccer Manager Terry Venables.

Beckham plays for Man U.

Doubtless, as Beckham neared adulthood, soccer clubs got into a fierce recruiting war over the budding star, but his heart remained with Manchester United, who came knocking when Beckham was all of 12 years old.

Every year up until he was 16, Beckham spent his summers practicing with Manchester. In 1991, David Beckham signed with Man U. as a trainee.

As part of Manchester’s junior team, Beckham and his team earned the FA Youth Cup in 1992. And although they came close to landing the Cup again in 1993, it wasn’t meant to be that time around.

In 1994, Beckham was loaned out to Preston North End, a third-division club, and after proving how fantastic he was in four games with the team, Manchester U. quickly recalled him.

Beckham finally got his chance to take the field with Man U., and although the team didn’t do well that year, Beckham felt as though he had finally “arrived.”

Beckham wins FA Cup in 1996

Impressing everyone in his 1995-1996 season, Man U. managed to make its way to the league title and win the FA Cup, despite claims that it would be a terrible season for the team.

1996-1997 was an even greater season for Beckham, as he was named the Young Player of the Year and solidified his position on England’s national team. It was that season in March that David met Victoria Adams (a.k.a. Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice). The two hit it off and were married during a lavish $800,000 ceremony on July 4, 1999, and have since had three sons together (Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz).

With much more media glare thanks to his newfound relationship and multi-million dollar endorsement deals (most notably from Adidas), David Beckham looked like he was really enjoying the spotlight. And for diehard fans of the sport, it seemed like his on-field talent had begun to dissipate.

Beckham’s World Cup mistake

Things went from bad to worse when, during the 1998 World Cup in France, Beckham was red flagged for kicking an Argentinean player and his team ultimately lost the game. When Beckham began his 1998-1999 season back home, his once adoring fans heckled him for messing up at the World Cup.

It was during this season, however, that Beckham and his team managed to snag the Premiership, FA Cup and European Cup. But even after he was voted Best Midfielder and Most Valuable Player, fans still wouldn’t let his World Cup mess up go.

It was in the 1999-2000 season that the heckling had begun to take its toll on Beckham; he was fined for two weeks for partying the night before a game, he shaved his head, and he and manager Alex Ferguson began feuding.

Beckham becomes highest paid

After being quickly eliminated from the 2000 Euro Cup, Beckham, who was now the captain of the England team, returned for the 2000-2001 season with a more positive attitude. Opponents took notice and began to target David during play, which resulted in his having many scoreless games.

By the end of 2001, Beckham felt he had proven himself worthy of a raise and became the highest-paid player in The Theater of Dreams (Old Trafford). Of course, considering his fan base all over the world, there was no doubt that Man U. made their money back in spades.

During his 2001-2002 season, Beckham broke a bone in his left foot and doctors were worried that he wouldn’t heal in time for the 2002 World Cup. Luckily, Beckham healed in time to play and although England didn’t bring home the cup, Beckham returned a hero in his fans’ eyes once again.

Beckham joins Real Madrid

And Beckham rode this adoration into the 2002-2003 season when he helped his team win the league. But it was as this season wound down that speculation about where Beckham would head next that really grabbed headlines.

In 2003, Real Madrid’s club president Florentino Perez set his sights on the media sweetheart and in June, the announcement was made: David Beckham would be making the move to the super club that already had Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, and Ronaldo, at a transfer fee of $41.3 million dollars.

Unfortunately for Beckham, critics would not accept him easily and he was forced to prove himself worthy of such a steep price tag. And Beckham did just that by playing his heart out throughout the 2003-2004 season, even though his club finished fourth.

David Beckham & Rebecca Loos

In April 2004, the media began reporting that Beckham was having an affair with his kids’ nanny, Rebecca Loos. Soon, another woman, model Sarah Marbeck, also came forward making the same claim. This had a profound effect on David, and the man who was once open to taking photographs and signing autographs had now begun to shy away from the paparazzi and fans.

Although Beckham did his best to focus on the 2004 Euro Cup, his team succumbed to losses against France and Portugal. And his 2004-2005 season with Real wasn’t so hot, either; they finished second behind Barcelona.

His 2005-2006 season wasn’t much better, as Beckham was sent off the field more often than ever, and during the qualifying rounds for the 2006 World Cup, Beckham became the first English captain ever to be sent off the field.

Beckham resigns as captain

Unfortunately, Beckham was injured during the quarter-final game against Portugal, in which England was eliminated. The day after the loss, Beckham officially resigned as England’s captain, but still plans to remain part of the team.

With the pretty penny David Beckham has made via soccer and sponsorship deals, he has bought multi-million dollar homes in Britain and The Palm in Jumeirah (Dubai). The couple also own 10 cars, which include Bentleys, Aston Martins and four Ferraris.

Beckham became a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF in January 2005, because he supported the charity for a number of years.

Beckham joins Los Angeles Galaxy

After living outside London with his family in what has been dubbed “Beckingham Palace” with their two dogs, Snoopy and Puffy, Beckham signed a 5-year, $250 million deal to play for the MLS’ Los Angeles Galaxy and moved to Los Angeles indefinitely with his family.
